Laser Hair Removal

|
TreatmentHow does the Laser remove hair? The laser works by a principle called Selective Photothermolysis. The laser is pulsed (turned on) for a millisecond emitting a beam of light on to the skin. The light energy passes harmlessly through the skin, but is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle and hair shaft. By absorbing this laser energy, the hair follicles are disabled, impairing their ability to grow. The laser is only effective on hair follicles in the active growth phase (anagen), eliminating undesired hair from all parts of the body. Because of this, patients usually require about 5 treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart to successfully treat an area with 90-95% hair reduction. Laser therapy leaves your skin looking and feeling softer and smoother. |
The Soprano XL Virtually Pain Free Laser Hair Removal SystemThe Soprano XL Virtually Pain Free Laser Hair Removal System dramatically improves the way laser hair removal has been performed for hair removal over larger areas. The revolutionary system makes "in motion" hair removal possible with continuous movement of the wand while still accomplishing deep penetration into the dermis. The ability to move the wand continuously over the treatment area virtually eliminates the pain that can be experienced by patients when they are being treated for larger areas of the body, such as the legs, back and arms. This is particularly true for men who require hair removal across the entire back or chest. For these areas, the Rox Spa practitioners can treat patients without breaks, reducing discomfort and treatment times. |
